USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie rankings, Feb. 11: Khamzat Chimaev benefits from UFC 312 result


UFC 312 took place this past Saturday at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, producing a few updates across multiple divisions.

In the main event, Dricus Du Plessis successfully defended the middleweight title in a championship rematch against Sean Strickland. Entering the week at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, Strickland falls a spot, allowing room for undefeated contender Khamzat Chimaev to move up.

In the co-feature, Zhang Weili defended her strawweight title against previously unbeaten Tatiana Suarez in a dominant performance.
