UFC 314 took place Saturday at Kaseya Center in Miami, and after a stretch of somewhat forgettable events, the card delivered with some significant results and historical moments.
No one put their name in more rarified air than main event winner, Alexander Volkanovski (27-4 MMA, 14-3 UFC), who is once again featherweight champion after outworking and outpointing Diego Lopes (26-7 MMA, 5-2 UFC) for a unanimous decision to claim the vacant belt.

Pimblett’s (23-3 MMA, 7-0 UFC) seven-fight UFC winning streak at lightweight is the second-longest active streak in the division behind Islam Makhachev (14).
Pimblett has earned five of his seven UFC victories by stoppage.
Michael Chandler (23-10 MMA, 2-5 UFC) has suffered four of his five UFC losses by stoppage.
Yair Rodriguez def. Patricio Freire
Yair Rodriguez (20-5 MMA, 11-4 UFC) has earned six of his 11 UFC victories by decision.
Patricio Freire (36-8 MMA, 0-1 UFC) was unsuccessful in his UFC debut after a decorated career with Bellator where he was a two-division and multi-time champion.
Freire has suffered five of his eight career losses by decision.
Jean Silva def. Bryce Mitchell
Silva (16-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) has earned 15 of his 16 career victories by stoppage. That includes all five of his UFC wins.
Silva’s five-fight UFC stoppage streak is tied with Steve Garcia for the longest active streak in the company.
Bryce Mitchell (17-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) fell to 2-3 in his past five fights after starting his career 15-0.
Mitchell has suffered all three of his career losses by stoppage.
Dominick Reyes def. Nikita Krylov
Dominick Reyes (15-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC) has earned 12 of his 15 career victories by stoppage. That includes six of his nine UFC wins.
Nikita Krylov (29-9 MMA, 11-8 UFC) fell to 4-5 since he returned to the UFC for a second stint in September 2018.
Krylov fell to 13-7 since he dropped to the light heavyweight division in March 2014.
Krylov has suffered eight of his 10 career losses by stoppage.

Jandiroba has landed at least one takedown against 10 of her 11 UFC opponents.
Chase Hooper def. Jim Miller
Chase Hooper (16-3-1 MMA, 8-3 UFC) improved to 5-0 since he moved up to the lightweight division in May 2023.
Hooper’s five-fight UFC winning streak at lightweight is tied for the third-longest active streak in the division behind Makhachev (14) and Pimblett (seven).
Jim Miller (38-19 MMA, 27-18 UFC) has suffered 14 of his 19 career losses by decision.
Miller’s 51 submission attempts in UFC competition are the most in company history.
