UFC Fight Night 254 bonuses all from prelims on show with 9 finishes

The UFC handed out four bonuses after Saturday’s card – all to fighters on the prelims, and in four of the first five fights, no less.

After UFC Fight Night 254, four fighters picked up an extra $50,000 for their performances in Las Vegas. Check out the winners below.

Performance of the Night: Carli Judice

Carli Judice def. Yuneisy Duben via TKO (head kick, punches) – Round 1, 1:40

Carli Judice (4-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) got UFC Fight Night 254 started with a bang when she drilled Yuneisy Duben (6-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) with a head kick, then pounced for a TKO that took just 100 seconds. Duben was a popular upset pick in her promotional debut given she had been training with former UFC champ Rose Namajunas, but her unbeaten record vanished quickly.

Performance of the Night: Priscila Cachoeira

Priscila Cachoeira def. Josiane Nunes via knockout (punch) – Round 1, 2:46

Priscila Cachoeira (13-6 MMA, 5-6 UFC) saw Josiane Nunes (10-4 MMA, 3-3 UFC) try to get inside one too many times. Cachoeira cocked her right arm and drilled Nunes with an uppercut that put her out on the canvas instantly.

Performance of the Night: Andre Lima

Andre Lima def. Daniel Barez via submission (rear-naked choke) – Round 3, 3:05

Andre Lima (11-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) stayed unbeaten and got not only the first submission of his career when he tapped Daniel Barez (17-7 MMA, 1-2 UFC) in the third round, but was given his jiu-jitsu black belt.

Performance of the Night: Carlos Vera

Carlos Vera def. Josias Musasa via submission (rear-naked choke) – Round 1, 3:16

Carlos Vera (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) had a tall task in front of him against the debuting Josias Musasa (8-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC), who was a massive favorite of more than 9-1. Vera put Musasa away with a brutally tight rear-naked choke in the first round.
