Former UFC title challenger Marvin Vettori (19-7-1 MMA, 9-5-1 UFC) will return after nearly two years away to give Roman Dolidze (13-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) a shot at redemption in the UFC Fight Night 254 main event.
The first meeting between the pair took place at UFC 286 in March 2023. Vettori picked up a unanimous decision victory. The Italian only has fought once since then and was knocked out by Jared Cannonier in June 2023.
Dolidze is 2-1 since his loss to Vettori with wins over Kevin Holland and Anthony Smith in 2024 following a loss to Nassourdine Imavov. Despite the long layoff for Vettori, he’s a slight betting favorite at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas when they run it back.
